• Day 1 — Labuan Bajo to Kalong: Board around 09:00, safety briefing and cabin allocation, lunch underway. Afternoon snorkel at Kelor Island’s steep little reef, a second stop at Manjarite’s coral garden, then anchor off Kalong Island for the flying-fox exodus at sunset. Dinner on deck, night at anchor.
• Day 2 — the big day: 04:30 start for the Padar Island ridge — on the summit before the day boats arrive. Back aboard for breakfast, swim at Pink Beach, then the ranger-led Komodo dragon trek at Loh Liang on Komodo Island (or Rinca, by permit allocation). Afternoon on the Taka Makassar sandbank.
