Cabins are individually named, and on a shared departure you reserve a specific cabin, not a generic category. That matters: the cabin ladder is what moves the price. A Lagoon double on the lower deck books at $400 per person, while Sandal and Aure at two-person occupancy sit at the $800 top of the published range. Four-berth cabins reward groups: fill Breeze with four friends and the rate drops to $430 each.

Extra beds cost $350 where the cabin layout allows one (Coral and Sandal). Aure holds the only private jacuzzi on board and Azure the pick of the bathtubs — on weekend departures those two book out first. For calibration, a standard mid-market shared 3D2N in Komodo runs about IDR 3.5–5.5 million per person; the Naturalia boat prices above that band because you are paying for a near-new hull, en-suite hot-water bathrooms in every cabin and far more space per guest than the 5-cabin boats that dominate the harbor.
Private charter: the whole boat — all 8 cabins, 24 berths, crew and chef — runs from $7,800 per night (≈ IDR 126 million), with 2D1N to 5D4N routes shaped around your group. Meals prepared on board and harbor transfers are typically included; park and ranger fees are always billed separately, and we itemise everything in a single quote before you pay anything. Two Ways to Sail
Open Trip or Private Charter
Naturalia sells in two formats, and the honest answer on which to pick is arithmetic. On a shared open trip you book by cabin and share the deck with other guests: weekly 3D2N departures run year-round on a published calendar, mostly Friday-to-Sunday blocks, with weekday shared cruises available as a quieter alternative. Day-1 pick-up is at 09:00 from hotels and the airport within Labuan Bajo mainland. Below six people, the open trip is almost always the better buy; from about ten friends upward, a whole-boat charter starts to compete once you split $7,800 a night twenty-four ways and gain full control of the route.

Private charters run from 2D1N up to 5D4N. Divers who want repeat passes over Manta Point, photographers chasing the morning light on Padar, or families who prefer the quieter southern anchorages all end up chartering for exactly that flexibility — the shared route below is fixed, a charter route is yours.
On timing: the dry season, roughly April through November, brings the calmest seas and the golden savanna hills Komodo is photographed for, with July to September the busiest — and the months when the balcony and jacuzzi cabins sell out first. The green season turns the islands emerald and thins the crowds; seas can be lumpier in January and February, which is worth knowing if anyone in your group is a nervous sailor. Mantas are resident in the park year-round, so no month rules out the Manta Point drift.

Naturalia Komodo Route: The 3D2N She Sails Weekly
This is the published shared itinerary, on the page rather than buried in a PDF. It reads compact, but the sequencing is deliberate — the fleet times Padar for dawn, when the saddle viewpoint is 24–26°C instead of the 33°C it hits by mid-morning.
Day 1 — Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong
Pick-up at 09:00 from your Labuan Bajo hotel or the airport, then the crew casts off for Kelor Island: a short, steep 15-minute trek to the ridgeline viewpoint and a first snorkel off the beach to test gear. Early afternoon is the Manjarite reef, a long shallow coral shelf where the boat anchors for a second, easier swim. By dusk she is anchored off Kalong Island, where thousands of flying foxes stream out of the mangroves against the sunset — dinner is served on deck while they pass overhead.
Day 2 — Padar at 05:15, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Taka Makassar, Manta Point
The big day starts dark: a 05:15 trek start on Padar Island puts you on the saddle for sunrise over the three bays. Pink Beach follows mid-morning for snorkelling off the rose-tinted sand, then licensed park rangers lead the Komodo Island dragon walk — rangers, not crew, are the only people permitted to guide you around the dragons. The afternoon crosses to the Taka Makassar sandbar, a white crescent barely above the tide, and finishes drifting above the cleaning stations at Manta Point, where reef mantas hold in the current metres below your mask.
Day 3 — Sebayur and Return
A final morning snorkel at Sebayur Island — the house reef drops straight off the sand — and the boat is back alongside at Labuan Bajo around midday, in time for afternoon flights out of Komodo Airport.
Park fees are never included in boat prices anywhere in Labuan Bajo, so budget them separately: foreign visitors pay IDR 250,000 (~$16) per person per day in entry fees, an IDR 25,000 harbor fee, plus ranger trekking fees per group — IDR 200,000 for up to five people on Komodo, IDR 150,000 on Padar. Plan on $40–50 per person on top of the cabin rate for a 3D2N; our park fees guide itemises every line. Since April 2026 the park has enforced a 1,000-visitor daily cap for the Komodo–Padar zone through the SiOra reservation system — we lock those slots in when we confirm your cabin. Flying a drone requires a separate BTNK permit at IDR 2,000,000 per day.

She measures 33.45 metres over a 6-metre beam, displaces 161 gross tonnes, and spreads 8 en-suite, air-conditioned cabins across three decks for a maximum of 24 guests. Some guests search for the Naturalia yacht; strictly speaking she is a traditional wooden motor-sailer, not a modern motor yacht, and that is precisely her appeal.

Life On Board: Decks, Dining and Connectivity
Shared spaces run across all three decks. The full sundeck is where guests spend the long crossings between islands — at 7–9 knots the legs are unhurried, and the deck is wide enough that 24 guests do not feel like 24 guests. Meals rotate between the outdoor panoramic dining deck and an indoor air-conditioned lounge with a mini bar, which earns its keep in the hot early-afternoon hours; the galley serves three meals a day, a rotation of Indonesian and Western dishes, and handles dietary requirements if you flag them at booking. Evenings at anchor are covered by a speaker and karaoke set — used or ignored depending entirely on who is on board that week.
Snorkelling sets and life vests are carried as standard, and departures typically include a documentation crew shooting drone, GoPro and mirrorless footage with raw files shared after the trip. The exact water-toy kit — paddleboards, kayaks — varies by departure, and while some listings advertise satellite WiFi, coverage inside the park varies in practice.
