The four Superior cabins trade the balcony for panoramic ocean-view windows, and at the lower rate they are the value pick for friend groups filling the boat.

Trip Types: Open Trip or Whole-Boat Charter

Ayvara runs two formats. The open trip sells cabins individually on a shared 3D2N sailing — the right call for couples and solo travelers who want a deluxe boat at a per-person price. The private charter takes the whole boat from 2D1N up to 7D6N with a fully customizable route; at 15 berths she suits multi-family groups and small company retreats. One honest note: Ayvara is positioned as a sailing and snorkeling boat — gear and life vests are included, but we found no dedicated scuba program on her listings. The Route Ayvara Sails: Sample 3D2N Itinerary

Day 1 — Kelor, Manjarite & the Kalong Bats

Boarding at Labuan Bajo Harbor around 09:00, with hotel pickup listed as included on Ayvara departures. First stop is Kelor Island for a short, steep ridge climb, then Manjarite for the first snorkel over shallow coral. The day ends anchored off Kalong Island, where tens of thousands of flying foxes lift off the mangroves at dusk — the rooftop deck earns its keep here.

Day 2 — Padar at 05:15, Pink Beach, Dragons, Mantas

We time Padar for a 05:15 trailhead start so you summit before the heat and the crowds. Mid-morning is Pink Beach, then Komodo Island itself, where a licensed ranger leads the dragon trek (IDR 200,000 per group of up to 5, paid at the gate). The afternoon closes at Manta Point — drift snorkeling over the cleaning station where reef mantas hold against the current.

Day 3 — Taka Makassar & Return

First light on the Taka Makassar sandbar, a final snorkel at Siaba or Sebayur, then the run home — at Ayvara’s 9–10-knot cruise you are back alongside in Labuan Bajo by early afternoon, in time for a 16:00 flight. Longer private routes add Gili Lawa and Rinca. Budget park fees on top of any boat rate: entry is IDR 250,000 (~$16) per person per day plus IDR 25,000 harbor fee — plan on $40–50 per person across a 3D2N. Since April 2026 the park caps Komodo–Padar at 1,000 visitors per day through the SiOra reservation system, so we lock your permits the moment your booking confirms.
