Check Ayvara Dates Private Charter OptionsQuick Answer
Ayvara Cruise is a 25-meter deluxe phinisi sailing Komodo National Park from Labuan Bajo, with 7 en-suite cabins for up to 15 guests. Shared 3D2N places typically run $450–570 per person; whole-boat charters start around IDR 92,000,000 for 2D1N. Komodo Trip checks live dates and holds cabins via WhatsApp.
Ayvara Cruise at a Glance
Ayvara is the boat our desk recommends when guests want deluxe comfort without stepping up to full VIP charter pricing. Three of her seven cabins have private balconies, every cabin carries a queen bed with its own bathroom and air-conditioning, and Starlink keeps the connection alive even at anchor off Padar — which is why she books out with honeymooners, small friend groups, and remote workers who sail Monday to Wednesday and still make their calls. Komodo Trip is operated by Komodo Luxury since 2015, and Ayvara sails within our operator’s deluxe fleet, so cabin advice here is first-hand, not brochure copy.
She is also a genuinely new hull: her operator listing dates the launch to August 2025, which would make Ayvara one of the youngest phinisi working the park. The fit-out shows it — floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows in the Superior cabins, a 360-degree rooftop deck, and a fully equipped galley below.

Cabins: One Master Suite, Two Deluxe, Four Superior
The Master Suite is the cabin to fight over: a queen bed, a small private lounge, and its own balcony over the water. An extra bed can usually be added for a third guest — the exact policy varies by departure, so confirm it when you book. The two Deluxe cabins also carry private balconies with queen beds, which is rare on a 25-meter hull; most phinisi this size give balconies to the master cabin only. The four Superior cabins trade the balcony for panoramic ocean-view windows, and at the lower rate they are the value pick for friend groups filling the boat.
Every cabin on board is air-conditioned with a private en-suite bathroom. Listings disagree slightly on mattress width — 150 cm versus 160 cm queens — so if that half-size matters to you, ask Dewi on our guest experience desk to confirm for your specific cabin.
On Board: Starlink, Rooftop Deck & a Documentation Crew
Starlink Internet
Satellite Wi-Fi runs throughout the trip. Speeds move with weather and anchorage, but video calls from the sundeck are the norm, not the exception.
360° Rooftop Deck
A full wraparound rooftop deck plus a shaded sundeck below it — sunrise coffee faces Padar, sunset drinks face Kalong’s flying foxes.
Documentation Crew
Ayvara carries a dedicated documentation team with a drone, GoPro and mirrorless camera, so you go home with edited footage, not just phone snaps.
Galley & Dining
A fully equipped kitchen feeds an indoor dining room — meals are included on every departure, with snorkeling gear and life vests stowed aft.
Trip Types: Open Trip or Whole-Boat Charter
Ayvara runs two formats. The open trip sells cabins individually on a shared 3D2N sailing — the right call for couples and solo travelers who want a deluxe boat at a per-person price. The private charter takes the whole boat from 2D1N up to 7D6N with a fully customizable route; at 15 berths she suits multi-family groups and small company retreats. If you want to see how she stacks against the wider charter fleet, our private charter Komodo page compares hulls side by side, and our Komodo boat trip overview lists shared departures across every class from $220 per person.
One honest note: Ayvara is positioned as a sailing and snorkeling boat — gear and life vests are included, but we found no dedicated scuba program on her listings. Divers should browse the dive-ready boats on our Komodo liveaboard page instead, or ask our desk to match you to a vessel with tanks and a compressor.
The Route Ayvara Sails: Sample 3D2N Itinerary
Day 1 — Kelor, Manjarite & the Kalong Bats
Boarding at Labuan Bajo Harbor around 09:00, with hotel pickup listed as included on Ayvara departures. First stop is Kelor Island for a short, steep ridge climb, then Manjarite for the first snorkel over shallow coral. The day ends anchored off Kalong Island, where tens of thousands of flying foxes lift off the mangroves at dusk — the rooftop deck earns its keep here.
Day 2 — Padar at 05:15, Pink Beach, Dragons, Mantas
We time Padar for a 05:15 trailhead start so you summit before the heat and the crowds. Mid-morning is Pink Beach, then Komodo Island itself, where a licensed ranger leads the dragon trek (IDR 200,000 per group of up to 5, paid at the gate). The afternoon closes at Manta Point — drift snorkeling over the cleaning station where reef mantas hold against the current.
Day 3 — Taka Makassar & Return
First light on the Taka Makassar sandbar, a final snorkel at Siaba or Sebayur, then the run home — at Ayvara’s 9–10-knot cruise you are back alongside in Labuan Bajo by early afternoon, in time for a 16:00 flight. Longer private routes add Gili Lawa and Rinca. Budget park fees on top of any boat rate: entry is IDR 250,000 (~$16) per person per day plus IDR 25,000 harbor fee — plan on $40–50 per person across a 3D2N. Since April 2026 the park caps Komodo–Padar at 1,000 visitors per day through the SiOra reservation system, so we lock your permits the moment your booking confirms.
Ayvara Cruise Rates 2026
Ayvara’s published rates vary by source, season and group size, so treat the figures below as indicative bands — your final quote comes from our booking desk, usually within a few hours on WhatsApp.
| Format | Duration | Indicative rate |
|---|---|---|
| Open trip (shared cabin) | 3D2N | typically $450–570 / person |
| Private charter (whole boat, 1–8 guests) | 2D1N | from ~IDR 92,000,000 (~$5,700) |
| Private charter (whole boat, 9–15 guests) | 7D6N | up to ~IDR 146,000,000 |
| Custom routes / other durations | 2D1N–7D6N | rates on request via our booking desk |
For context: shared phinisi berths in the harbor start from $220 per person for a 3D2N, and Ayvara sits deliberately above that — the premium buys Starlink, balcony cabins, a 15-guest cap and the documentation crew. Meals, a guide, snorkeling gear and Labuan Bajo hotel or airport transfers are listed as included on Ayvara departures; we restate exactly what your rate covers in the written quote so there are no surprises at the harbor.

Book Now WhatsApp UsHow to Book Ayvara Through Komodo Trip
We arrange Ayvara through our Labuan Bajo booking desk — to be straight about it, we do not own this hull, we place you on it, and because our operator Komodo Luxury is rated 4.8/5 from 150+ Google reviews and markets this vessel directly, we see her real calendar rather than a reseller’s cache. Message WhatsApp +62 811 3823 875 or email sales@komodoluxury.com with your dates; Dewi confirms cabin availability, holds your pick while you decide, and files the SiOra park permits. On the water, ranger coordination runs through licensed park guides — Andi’s team handles the Komodo and Rinca treks — or start from the book now page and we come back to you the same day.
Ayvara vs Her Sister Phinisi
Against Magika — the 26.74-meter, 9-cabin sister that carries 22 guests with open-trip berths from $310 — Ayvara trades capacity for calm: eight fewer guests at full load, queen beds in every cabin, and balconies on three of seven. Choose Magika for the lower shared entry price and a livelier deck; choose Ayvara for space per guest and working Wi-Fi. Yumana and Catnazse round out the deluxe tier, and you can compare every hull we place guests on across our Komodo boat fleet page.
