A Komodo honeymoon package costs from $650 per person for 3 days, 2 nights in a premium double cabin on a shared phinisi, or from $1,200 per day for a private boat carrying just the two of you. Operated by Komodo Luxury since 2015. WhatsApp +62 811 3823 875 to tailor your dates.
Most boats in Komodo are built for groups — ten bunks, a shared table, a fixed schedule. A honeymoon asks for the opposite: slow mornings, a cabin that is actually yours, and a crew that knows when to serve dinner and when to disappear. Our Komodo honeymoon package options are built around that difference, from a premium double cabin on a shared sailing to a private honeymoon phinisi carrying nobody but you two and the crew.
Every departure sails from Labuan Bajo Harbor in East Nusa Tenggara, operated by Komodo Luxury since 2015, with licensed park guides on every trip. Honeymoons get our most experienced hands: Captain Yusuf picks the calm anchorages, Chef Bayu cooks the deck dinners, and Dewi handles the surprises you plan behind your partner’s back. Not just married? Proposals and anniversaries are covered on our Komodo trip for couples page — this page is for the post-wedding sail itself.
Komodo Honeymoon Package Tiers for 2026
Three tiers cover almost every honeymoon we run. All prices are 2026 rates, always “from”, and exclude national park fees (detailed below).
| Package | Duration | Boat | Price from | Approx. total for two |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shared Premium Cabin | 3D2N | Premium shared phinisi, private double cabin | $650/person | ~$1,300 |
| Private Honeymoon Charter | 3D2N | Whole phinisi (sleeps 6–10) to yourselves | $1,200/day | ~$3,600 |
| Extended Private Charter | 4D3N | Phinisi with en-suite master cabin | $1,600/day | ~$6,400 |
The shared premium cabin is the smart entry point. You follow the classic 3 days, 2 nights route — Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point — with up to five other cabins on board, but the double cabin and, on most boats, a private table at dinner are yours. Standard shared berths start at $220 per person, and honeymooners who ask Dewi for the honest answer get it: pay the difference for the premium cabin, because the air-conditioning and the en-suite matter more on night two than they sound on the brochure. Couples budgeting in rupiah should expect IDR 3.5–5.5 million per person for shared 3D2N cabins at 2026 market rates — paket honeymoon Komodo pricing is the same trip, quoted in rupiah.
A private charter in Komodo changes the trip more than the price suggests. From $1,200 per day — about $3,600 for the full 3D2N — you get a boat that sleeps six to ten, sailed for two. That means Padar at 05:15 before the day boats arrive, a second hour at Manta Point because you asked for it, and dinner anchored in a bay with no other mast in sight.
The 4D3N private tier, from $1,600 per day (about $6,400 all-in for the boat), runs on phinisi with a proper en-suite master cabin and adds a full extra day: Kelor Island’s short ridge climb, a second manta session, and one lazy afternoon with no plan at all. Browse cabin layouts and charter rates on our Komodo phinisi charter page — this komodo honeymoon liveaboard tier is the one couples extend, not the one they cut.
Budget national park fees separately: entry is IDR 250,000 (~$16) per person per day for foreign visitors, ranger-guided treks cost IDR 200,000 per group of up to five (IDR 150,000 on Padar), and the harbor fee is IDR 25,000. On a 3D2N trip that works out to roughly $40–50 per person, paid in rupiah. One 2026 change matters for honeymooners: Komodo and Padar are capped at 1,000 visitors per day through the SiOra reservation system from April 2026, so we register your slots the day you confirm.
Romantic Moments We Build Into Every Itinerary
None of these are brochure lines. They are things our crew does every week, timed to the minute.
Private Padar Sunrise
We anchor below Padar the night before. The tender drops you at the trailhead at 05:15, the climb takes about 35 minutes, and you reach the three-bay viewpoint before the 05:50 sun. On private charters you often have the summit to yourselves for the first hour.
Candle-Lit Deck Dinner
Chef Bayu grills snapper bought that morning in Labuan Bajo and serves it with sambal matah on the foredeck. Captain Yusuf points the bow west off Kalong Island, where thousands of flying foxes stream out of the mangroves around 18:15 — dinner theatre with no ticket.
Pink Beach Picnic
The sand takes its blush from crushed red pipe-organ coral. We set a picnic above the tide line and you snorkel straight off the beach — the reef starts about 20 meters out and the water holds 26–29°C all year.
Dragons, Safely
Andi, our lead park guide, walks you through Loh Liang on Komodo Island in the cool early morning, when dragons are most active. Rangers accompany every walk — wilder than any zoo, and calmer than it sounds.

Cabin decoration — fresh flowers from the Labuan Bajo morning market, a draped canopy, the towel swans if you want them — is arrangeable with at least seven days notice. Dewi coordinates it directly with the boat crew, so your partner sees nothing until the cabin door opens on boarding day.
A photographer for a half-day shoot on Padar or Pink Beach can usually be arranged through Labuan Bajo–based professionals. We phrase this honestly: availability depends on your dates and shoots are quoted individually, so raise it when you book rather than on arrival. If you would rather fly your own drone, the national park requires a BTNK permit at IDR 2,000,000 per day — we can point you to the paperwork before you pack it.
Bali + Komodo: The Two-Island Honeymoon
The most requested plan pairs three or four resort nights in Bali — Ubud for the jungle, Uluwatu for the cliffs — with the sailing leg. Flights from Denpasar to Labuan Bajo take 65–75 minutes and leave through the morning; our Bali to Komodo guide covers airlines, timing, and what to do if your flight lands after the boat’s ideal departure window.
Couples weighing Komodo vs Bali for the honeymoon usually land on both. Bali does spas, restaurants, and villa pools better than anywhere else in Indonesia; Komodo does wildlife, empty anchorages, and the feeling of having a national park nearly to yourselves. Sequence matters: do Bali first so you arrive at the harbor rested, and keep your final night in a Labuan Bajo hotel so an afternoon swell never threatens the flight home.
Best Months for a Komodo Honeymoon
April to June is our honeymoon sweet spot: the hills fade from green to gold, seas stay calm, and rates sit below the July–August peak. September to November is the quiet second window, with the year’s warmest water at 28–29°C. July and August are the driest months but also the busiest, with gusty afternoons — fine on a private charter that can re-route, less fun on a fixed shared schedule. December to February brings rain and the occasional choppy crossing, and also the peak manta season at Manta Point; diving couples sometimes choose it deliberately.
When to Book
Private phinisi for July, August, and full-moon dates sell out four to six months ahead; shoulder-season dates usually hold until six to eight weeks out. The 1,000-visitor daily cap makes Padar and Komodo slots a fixed commodity now, which rewards early confirmation. Our advice is simple: lock the boat the week your wedding date is fixed, then build flights around it.
Our operator Komodo Luxury is rated 4.8/5 from 150+ Google reviews, and thousands of guests have sailed with us since 2015 — honeymooners get the same boats with more attention. Questions before committing? Email sales@komodoluxury.com or message us on WhatsApp and Dewi will answer, usually the same day.
