The multi-night totals are straight arithmetic at the base nightly rate, shown so you can budget — treat them as floors, not quotes. The shared open trip runs the standard 3D2N Komodo circuit with seats sold per person by cabin class — the right answer for couples and solo travellers who want a big, sociable deck and a fixed schedule they can book flights around. The private charter is where she earns her keep. The arithmetic is simple: at ~US$5,400 per night for the whole boat, any group of 16 or more almost always beats buying per-seat cabins on a comparable hull — and you control the route, the pace, the menu, and the playlist in the karaoke lounge. Charters run 2D1N for a fast dragons-and-Padar hit, 3D2N for the classic circuit, or 4D3N to add the quieter northern anchorages. The 3D2N Route: Padar Sunrise to Manta Point

This is the route our 3D2N Komodo trips run, and the one Aura Suci’s open-trip departures follow; on a private charter the same skeleton flexes around your group.

Day 1 — Labuan Bajo, Kelor, Manjarite & the Kalong Bats

Boarding at Labuan Bajo Harbor around 10:30. First stop Kelor Island for a short, steep viewpoint hike — fifteen sweaty minutes for the best warm-up photo of the trip — then Manjarite for the first snorkel over the house reef. The boat anchors off Kalong Island before dusk: between roughly 17:45 and 18:15, depending on the month, tens of thousands of flying foxes stream out of the mangroves across the sunset. Dinner on deck follows; the karaoke lounge opens for those who brought their voices.

Day 2 — Padar at First Light, Komodo Dragons & Mantas

Wake-up call before 05:00. The Padar summit trek starts around 05:15 so you top out for sunrise ahead of the day-boat crowds — the three-bay panorama is the photo that sells every Komodo trip, and it is empty at that hour. Back aboard for breakfast, then Pink Beach, a guided dragon trek on Komodo Island with licensed park guides, the Taka Makassar sandbar at midday, and a drift snorkel at Manta Point in the afternoon, where reef mantas feed along the channel’s cleaning stations.

Day 3 — Morning Snorkel & Return

Life on Board: Dining Room, Galley & Karaoke Lounge
