Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are both mega-hubs — one-stop connections from Europe, the Gulf, East Asia, and Australia already funnel neatly through them onto the LBJ flights that exist today.

Connecting via Bali or Jakarta in the Meantime

Our hard-earned rules: give yourself a minimum 3-hour connection at Denpasar between an international arrival and the domestic LBJ flight — terminals are adjacent but immigration queues at peak can eat an hour alone. Book a morning departure; afternoon flights to LBJ carry more delay and weather risk in the December–February wet season. Better still, fly in the day before your boat departs and sleep in town — Labuan Bajo itself deserves an evening, and the harbor is only a 10-minute drive from the terminal.
