A new boat enters Komodo service this season: LASHA, a 2023-built, 466-gross-ton phinisi with ten ensuite cabins, starts sailing from Labuan Bajo on 17 August 2026.
For travellers comparing options, the split is simple. Scheduled departures and shared trips remain the fastest way to see the park — our open-trip calendar continues unchanged. Private full-boat charter is where LASHA plays: groups of 14 to 26 guests take the entire vessel, set their own pace between Padar, Pink Beach and Manta Point, and sleep in cabins that range from twin Deluxe staterooms to Master Suites with private balconies and an in-suite jacuzzi tub.
Whole-boat rates start at $9,800 per night for up to 14 guests on the standard Komodo band, with each additional guest priced per night and free-of-charge places added as groups grow — the complete tables are public on Lasha Cruise, the vessel’s official site.
Two practical notes from the charter desk. First, July and August dates in Komodo sell out well ahead — a maiden-season boat is effectively the only fresh inventory for 2026. Second, park entrance fees ($25–35 per person per night depending on the programme) are always additional, on LASHA as on every vessel we schedule. If a private hull is more boat than your group needs, our scheduled Komodo trips remain the value route into the park.
