What Every Rate Covers
All Komodo Trip rates are all-inclusive with no hidden fees. Every booking includes:
Vessel & Crew: Your chosen vessel with experienced captain, crew, and (for liveaboards) dedicated hospitality staff. Fuel, port fees, and harbour charges are included.
Meals & Refreshments: All meals aboard — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Fresh drinking water, tea, and coffee throughout. Shared trips serve quality Indonesian cuisine; luxury liveaboards offer gourmet menus with international options.
Equipment: Snorkelling gear (mask, snorkel, fins) provided at no extra charge. Dive equipment available as a supplement for certified divers.
Activities: Guided treks on Komodo/Rinca Islands (with licensed park ranger), Padar viewpoint hikes, beach visits, and all scheduled snorkelling/swimming stops.
National Park Coordination: We handle all logistics with Komodo National Park authorities on your behalf.
Not Included
National Park entrance fees (paid directly at the park), alcoholic beverages, personal travel insurance, tips for crew (discretionary), and any activities not specified in your confirmed itinerary.
Why are Komodo Trip prices lower than international booking sites?
Because we are a direct operator based in Labuan Bajo, not a booking agency. International platforms add 30-50% commission to operator rates. When you book directly with Komodo Trip, you pay the actual operator price — the same quality experience at significantly better value.
Are national park fees included in the price?
National park entrance fees are NOT included in our rates as they must be paid directly to park authorities. Current rates (2025) are IDR 150,000 for domestic visitors and IDR 700,000 for international visitors. We assist with the payment process on your behalf.
Do prices change during peak season?
Luxury liveaboard and private charter rates may have seasonal supplements during peak season (July-August and Christmas/New Year). Shared trip rates remain consistent year-round. Contact us for exact pricing on your preferred dates.
Can I get a discount for a large group?
Yes. Groups of 8+ receive preferential rates, and full-boat charters offer the best per-person value. Corporate groups, wedding parties, and event bookings receive customised proposals with volume pricing. Contact our team with your group details.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers (BCA, Mandiri, international wire), major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and PayPal. A 30% deposit confirms your booking, with the balance due 14 days before departure.
