BOOKING POLICIES
Transparent Terms, No Surprises
Deposit & Payment
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining 70% is due 14 days before departure. We accept bank transfers (BCA, Mandiri) and major credit cards. For bookings made within 14 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
14+ days before departure: Full refund minus processing fees. 7-13 days: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: No refund, but rebooking to alternative dates is offered subject to availability. Force majeure events (volcanic eruptions, extreme weather, government closures) receive full credit for future bookings.
What’s Included
All Komodo Trip bookings include: vessel charter with experienced crew, all meals and refreshments aboard, snorkelling equipment, national park coordination, fuel and port fees, and drinking water. Diving equipment, alcohol, tips, and personal travel insurance are not included unless specifically stated in your booking confirmation.
How far in advance should I book a Komodo trip?
For peak season (April-October), we recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance for shared trips and 4-8 weeks for private charters and luxury liveaboards. Off-peak bookings can often be arranged within a few days. Last-minute availability is sometimes possible — contact us via WhatsApp for real-time availability.
Can I modify my booking after confirmation?
Yes. Date changes are free if requested 14+ days before departure, subject to vessel availability. Itinerary adjustments can be discussed with your crew during the trip. Downgrades or cancellations follow our standard cancellation policy.
Is travel insurance required?
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and diving activities (if applicable). While not mandatory, insurance provides essential protection for adventure travel in remote marine environments.
