2026 Update: How Komodo's 1,000-Visitor Cap Changes This
Starting April 2026, Komodo enforces a daily 1,000-visitor cap. Peak July–August now sells out 8–12 weeks ahead. Raja Ampat has no cap. If you want July/August Indonesia diving without quota stress, Raja Ampat may be the easier pick. For other months, Komodo's convenience + cost advantage wins.
